This is a compact clematis which has large bell shaped flowers in shades of blue, lavender, pink, purple blue and white. It grows in a compact bushy form, and looks good as a small individual plant. It can also be used with several plants grown together as a ground cover.
Sowing advice
Sow in spring in seed trays or pots. Sow onto the surface of moist seed raising mix . Press the seeds into the soil but don’t cover as they need light for germination. Maintain 15-20 deg C and keep moist. Germination may take several months . If no germination occurs after 3 months, seal the pot in a plastic bag and put into the fridge for 4 weeks. Inspect regularly for germination. Take out of fridge and plastic after the 4 weeks and keep at 15-20 deg C. they should germinate in 8-10 weeks
