Sowing Advice
Indoors: Sow in autumn and spring. Seed must be pre-chilled for 5 days at 4°C before sowing. Cover seed with 6 mm of fine soil and firm lightly. Germinate at 18-21°C for 7 days in total darkness. Grow seedlings at 10°C to prevent rapid soft growth. Centaureas do not transplant well so grow in cell pots to minimise root disturbance when transplanting.
