This calendula has fully  double flowers which are a pale lemon, unlike most other calendulas, and has a deeper lemon centre. It forms a small compact plant, approx 40 cm high, ideal for  border edgings. It performs well in a pot , where it produces a tidy small rounded plant with non stop flowers over summer.  It makes a good cut flower lasting well in the vase.  Plant in autumn for flowers in early summer, and again in spring and summer.

Sowing advice
Sow seeds in spring and early summer, late summer and early autumn.
Sow seeds using a well-drained soil or seed raising mix mix in pots or trays, and lightly cover the seeds with soil/seed raising mix. Optimum germination temperature is 21°C. Seeds can be sown indoors about 4-6 weeks before the last frost or outdoors when soil temperatures are warming up.
