Description
Picture thanks to Jelitto Seeds
These are new variations of the old New York Aster, especially bred for group plantings. The colours range from white through pink to blue. They flower in autumn when there is little other colour in the flower garden and the bees and other beneficial insects love them.
They will flower in their first year from seed if sown early enough
Sowing advice
Sow the seed onto moist seed raising mix, in pots or trays. Keep at 20 deg C and ensure they are kept moist. They should germinate in 10 -20 days.
