Description
This pretty plant absolutely blooms its heart out for about 2 months in summer, totally covering the bush in rich deep blue flowers. It can then be cut back to about 10cm and it will reward you with another flush of flowers. It can tolerate some drought , but is best in full sun in rich moist soil. It may over winter in mild areas, but is generally considered to be an annual. It will self seed with good manners, if the situation suits it.
Sowing advice
Sow in spring and summer in pots or trays on the surface of moist seed raising mix. Just press into the soil , but dont cover as light is required for germination. Propagate at approx 20 deg C. Ggermination should occur in 14- 21 days. Transplant when largenenough to handle into pots and grow on. Plant out after all danger of frost has gone.
