Description
This plant was awarded the Fleuroselect quality mark. It bears lovely peach orange flowers continuously from summer into late autumn on compact bushy plants which are suitable for containers or the garden.Its leaves have a distinct anise scent when crushed and they can be used to make tea.
If you plant the seeds early enough in the spring , it will flower the first year , and the plant will give not only fragrance , but solour and texture to the garden.
It likes a sunny position in well drained soil, and because of the scented leaves , many browsing animals wont eat it. It is hardy to about -17 deg C.
Sowing advice
Sow seeds in spring , summer and autumn in trays or pots, on to moist well-drained seed raising mix. Don’t cover the seeds as light is required for germination. Keep at 20 deg C .
