This is a lovely hardy large flowered viola which has pretty apricot flowers. It is more hardy than ordinary pansies , and in the right setting that suits it, it will bloom continuously , especially if spent blooms are removed.
Sowing advice for Viola
Sow spring and autumn. Sow the seeds in moist seed compost in pots or trays.
Sow 2mm deep and cover very lightly with soil. Ideal temp. 22°C. If seeds have not germinated in 2-4 weeks move to 4°C ( fridge) for 6-8 weeks then return to warmth at 10°C. Plant out when large enough.
