This is a large flowered perennial viola which will bloom for you each year . It has big deep blue flowers on a small compact mounded plant . It performs well in pots and at the front of the border. keep the spent flowers cut, to prolong the flowering.
Sowing advice for Viola
Sow spring and autumn. Sow the seeds in moist seed compost in pots or trays.
Sow 2mm deep and cover very lightly with soil. Ideal temp. 22°C. If seeds have not germinated in 2-4 weeks move to 4°C ( fridge) for 6-8 weeks then return to warmth at 10°C. Plant out when large enough.
