Description
This plant has silvery deeply toothed leaves which are prized for their effectiveness in floral work where they fill the backgrounds of bouquets elegantly. The plant will produce small yellow flowers in the second year, but they are best cut off , so that the plant doesnt spend all of its energy producing seeds, at the expense of foliage.
Sowing advice
Sow 8-10 weeks before last frost indoors. Do not cover the seed as light is required for germination. Bottom water or mist to avoid covering the seed with mix. Transplant into cell packs or larger containers when the first true leaves appear. Keep the foliage dry if possible and avoid watering late in the day to reduce the risk of fungus disease
