Burgundy Beau has large flower heads which are a rich deep plum coloured red. They are extremely attractive to bees, and make an excellent cut flower. It likes full sun best , but will grow in partial shade.

Sowing advice

Sow in Spring and summer. Sow in seed trays or pots. Sow into a moist well-drained seed compost. Cover very thinly as the seeds need light to germinate. Propagate at 18 -23 deg C. Germination takes 5-14 days. Transplant seedlings once large enough at 35-40 cm apart after danger of frost has passed.
