Out of stock

This pretty salvia has long spikes of mauve to purple flowers borne on strong burgundy coloured stems . It is a good plant for the border, mixing well with other plants and the bees and butterlies love the flowers. It likes a sunny position with good drainage, and dies down in the winter.

Sowing advice

Sow in Spring when the temperatures warm up , or under cover earlier. Sow in moist seed raising mix in pots or trays. Cover seeds very thinly and keep at approx 20 deg C. Germination should occur in approx 14 days but can take longer.
