This wonderful plant is highly prized for its long flowering ability , flowering from the start of summer right through until the end of autumn. It is the first perovskia of its type, which flowers in the first year from seed. It has heavenly blue flowers in clouds above fragrant grey green leaves. It is a very useful plant which likes a sunny warm spot in the garden, but it can also be used in pots as a specimen plant. It does not need staking.

Sowing advice

Sow in spring, early summer , late summer and early autumn.
Sow in pots or trays or direct where they are to grow
Sow into moist, well-drained seed raising mix. Just cover with a thin layer of soil. Ideal temp 20 deg C. Keep moist but not waterlogged. Germination takes 7-21 days.Keep in cooler conditions once they have germinated.
