Pinch out the stem when young to encourage a bushy habit. It makes an excellent container plant, and it flowers in the first year from seed, about 4.5 months from germination.

Sowing advice

Sow in trays or pots , onto moist seed raising mix. Cover lightly with mix and keep at 20 deg C. Seedlings should emerge in 7-14 days , but sometimes can take much longer , even up to 3 months.
