Out of stock

This lovely light airy native New Zealand plant  has sprays of pure white, almost orchid-like, saucer-shaped flowers with yellow stamens which float like butterflies on dark green stems  above clumps of compact green grass like  leaves which don’t spread very much.  It is an easy plant to grow and likes rich well drained soil in full sun.

Sowing advice

Sow  in trays or pots seeds as soon as you get them at any time of the year.
Cover seed with seed raising mix to approximately  their own depth. Keep evenly moist.  Germination can sometimes be quicker if kept at 15-20 deg C. But they can also be sown under cover and allowed to germinate naturally as some seeds have inbuilt dormancy mechanisms and often wait for the spring to emerge regardless of when they are sown.
