This plant forms a clump of grassy looking leaves, producing bright magenta-purple spikes of flowers which commence flowering in midsummer. The flowers open from the top down, and are somewhat fuzzy looking. They are good cut flowers. It is a larger growing plant than ‘Kobold’.It makes an excellent container plant.
