Description
This plant has curly ruffled leaves which are bright red when they first appear , maturing to bronze -maroon. They form a low mound. Stems of small white flowers are borne above the leaves in late spring. The plant will grow well in partial shade. It is an evergreen plant, and doesnt need much attention apart from a tidy up of ragged leaves. In hot and humid climates you may need to shade it from the afternoon sun to protect its leaves from burning.
