Description

This low growing, keenly sought after geranium has large china blue flowers with white centres. It is a slow spreading plant which forms a carpet and flowers non stop from mid summer through to autumn. It is a very lovely garden plant for a sunny to partially shaded spot , in soil which is constantly moisture retentive. It produces very few seeds and hence the rarity of the plant.

Sowing advice
Sow seeds in early summer or autumn on the surface of moist seed raising mix. Cover very lightly with mix.
Keep the soil moist not wet. Ideal temp. 15-20 deg. Germination takes 30-90 days. Transplant seedlings carefully as soon as they have 2 true leaves to 8cm pots and grow on. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed. If the seeds have not germinated in about 5 weeks then enclose the pot in a plastic bag to conserve moisture , and put them in the fridge for 2-3 weeks.
