Out of stock

The Mesa series is more compact and flowers with more predictability than other gaillardias grown from seed. It is the first F1 hybrid gaillardia to be produced from seed. Gaillardia ‘Mesa Peach’ is a tidy, sturdy, compact plant which is also very hardy, it blooms continuously and profusely smothering itself in stunning 8cm peach toned flowers which have yellow tips. It flowers from spring to late autumn. It tolerates drought well, and it flowers every year with very little care.

Sowing advice
Can be sown at any time. Sow in seed trays or pots.
Sow onto a moist well-drained seed compost. Cover very thinly as the seeds need light to germinate. Propagate with gentle heat at 18 -23 deg C. Germination takes 2-3 weeks. Transplant seedlings once large enough to small pots and grow on . When large enough transplant to the garden after acclimatizing them , at 35-40 cm apart.
