This plant has lacy foliage amongst which are produced an abundance of crimped creamy rose paper petals which are lightly flushed with raspberry. It is a useful colour mix for wedding work. The plant is drought tolerant and is easy to grow, it blooms throughout the summer, and is excellent in small spaces and at the front of the border.

Sowing Advice

Sow the seeds directly as they resent being disturbed. Sow after danger of frost has passed. Sow 1mm deep into prepared soil that has been raked to a fine tilth. Germination takes 14-21 days at 20°C. Thin seedlings to 15cm spacing by early summer.
