Description
This very attractive and popular californian poppy has creamy yellow flowers with a coral edging, which verges on orange in some flowers. The flowers can be single, semi double or double. They are short lived, but the plants are very floriferous producing abundantly throughout the summer. The flowers are used for wedding work.
Sowing advice
Sow the seeds directly as they resent being disturbed. Sow after danger of frost has passed. Sow 1mm deep into prepared soil that has been raked to a fine tilth. Germination takes 14-21 days at 20°C. Thin seedlings to 15cm spacing by early summer.
