Description
This larkspur has very unusual silvery white lavender blushed flowers with lavender centres. Most of the flowers are double , but a small percentage are single. Flower spikes are about 30 cm long, and it makes a very special cut flower.
Note that all parts of this flower including the seeds are poisonous.
sowing advice
Sow in spring. Best sown directly, as seedlings do not transplant well but can be grown in cell pots or trays with care when transplanting.
Rake soil to a fine tilth. Don’t cover seeds. Keep soil moist. Ideal temperature is 10 deg C. 14-21 days for germination. If germination does not occur try cold stratification for 2 weeks. Move to -4-+4°C for 2-4 weeks then return to warmth
