Description
This plant has many 3cm flowers on upright plants. The flowers produced can be double and semidouble bicolor blooms in black & plum, black & white, and purple. The flowers have a misty frosty appearance. They can be added to salads and desserts, as they are edible.
Sowing advice
These plants are best sown directly where they are to grow , but can also be sown in trays or pots. Ideal temperature for germination is 16-18 deg C.
Sow in spring summer and autumn.
Cover the seed lightly. Keep soil surface moist until emergence of seedlings. When seedlings have first true leaves, thin to 6-9″ apart.
