Description

The Songbird Series is a F1 hybrid cross between McKana Group and Mrs. Scott-Elliot hybrids. It has especially large flowers 5-9 cm on compact plants and is a popular choice for container growing, or growing at the front of the garden. The plant produces flowers abundantly over the spring and summer seasons. This mix has yellow red,violet, blue, pink and white . The flowers usually have a white centre. The plant likes filtered light or part shade,but will tolerate full sun, if the soil is kept moist, and they will bloom the first year from seed.

Sowing advice
Can be sown at any time. Sow onto moist seed raising mix , in pots or trays. Cover very thinly as light is needed for germination. Best propagated at approx 20 degrees C.
