This lovely plant won the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit. The Swan Series ( or State Series ) is the product of many years of hybridisation, which is known for its very large flowers. This plant is a very good garden performer , which produces flowers in abundance, very large pure white flowers, which are held above a mound of lacy fern like leaves, and appear to float in the evening light. It has multiple stems which are uniform and abundant, and makes a good garden cut flower. It blooms in late spring and summer.
It likes full sun but will tolerate partial shade.
