This plant produces large violet pink flower heads on small leaved foliage that is grey green. It is a rapid grower and flowers the first year from seed.Its fragrant flowers and strong mint tea smelling foliage attract butterflies and bees, ( and humans as well!).It is a wonderful plant for the border, bringing a strong accent with its deep pink flowers.It can tolerate dry or moist soil providing that it is well drained.
